Exhibit Floor Plan
The conference will be held in the Colloquium Room (906); exhibits are in East End Lounge and in the Colloquium Room.
Please indicate your 1st and 2nd choices (Table numbers) on the application form. Tables are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
Jiangsu TX Plastic Optical Fibers Co., Ltd. (Table No. 1)
TXPOF’s main products include plastic optical fiber cables, data communication jumpers, industrial control system, power control system, intelligent sensing system, and automotive intelligence, etc.
Yazaki Corporation (Table No. 2)
We propose an in-vehicle optical component that aggregates signals from sensors mounted around the vehicle and transmits them at high speed optical signal without delay to the Autonomous driving ECU or Advanced Driver Assistance System.
Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (Table No. 3)
Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) introduces a 1 Gigabit communication demonstration using SI-POF and multi modulation technology (PAM-16). Many Lidars and IP-cameras are connected; the system works smoothly with low latency.
Asahi Kasei Corp. (Table No. 5)
Asahi Kasei offers diverse PMMA SI-POF products. Especially, our multicore fibers, with up to 13,000 cores, are used in industrial sensors, light guides, communications, and image fibers.
FiberFin Inc. (Table No. 7)
Since its inception, FiberFin has been a leader in the plastic optical fiber (POF) industry in the United States and has helped shape the design of POF cable assemblies and termination equipment. FiberFin offers a complete line of industrial-grade products, including POF cable, terminated cable assemblies, connectors, and accessories.
SHUTE Sensing Solutions A/S (Table No. 8)
SHUTE Sensing Solutions A/S has developed a novel Polymer Optical Fiber sensor system, which enables real-time monitoring of strain/stress, humidity and temperature in points along an optical fiber.
AGC Inc. (Table No. 9)
FONTEX is a high performance Graded Index Plastic Optical Fiber (GI-POF) utilizing low material dispersion of perfluorinated polymer. It has capabilities of over 10 Gbps data transmission and low bending loss.
Keio Photonics Research Institute (Table No. 10)
KPRI will present the world’s first error-free plastic optical fiber (Error-Free POF) for data centers and generative AI. The Error-Free POF eliminates the need for current error correction methods, contributing to energy savings and reduced communication latency in data centers.
Air Water Inc. (Table No. 11)
We have been developing a needle-sized rigid endoscope using GI-POF lens. With highly accurate control of refractive index within a plastic lens, we can utilize it for an ultra-fine lens as a replacement for a relay lens or fiber-bundled lens in conventional rigid endoscopes. The 0.5-mm diameter lens performs high resolution with about 200 LP/mm. The rigid endoscope using GI-POF lens has a possibility to allow doctors to directly observe a patient’s inner affected area before and after surgery in a minimally invasive procedure, enabling rapid and accurate assessment of the patient’s condition and efficient post-operative follow-up.
Plastic Optical Fiber Trade Organization
The Plastic Optical Fiber Trade Organization is an international trade association which strives to actively promote the proliferation of Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) systems and components serving both data communication and non-data markets. Information Gatekeepers serves as its secretariat. IGI, headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, is an internationally recognized publisher, trade show organizer, consultancy and information service provider in the fields of fiber optics and telecommunications.
